St. Joseph’s began RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) on Thursday, September 16th for those who are interested in becoming Catholic and also for those who want to grow deeper in knowledge of the faith. Not many parishes are privileged to have their very own pastor teach these classes! Whether you are a baptized Catholic, a baptized Christian, or not baptized at all, join Fr. Kovash in exploring some of the greatest depths of the Catholic faith! The following topics will be discussed: creation, the existence of God, the role of Scripture in our Faith, sin and its consequences, how to pray, what is prayer, what are the Sacraments, why do we go to confession, marriage and the priesthood, contraception, homosexuality, death and the afterlife, purgatory, salvation, justification, Mary, the Saints, and the Eucharist. These classes will take place on Thursdays at 6:20pm in O’Neill Hall from September 12th, 2019 - April 30th, 2020. Invite a Catholic or non-Catholic friend!
