In one week, we will be on our way to Kenya, East Africa to begin the start of our three committment to serve at the African Mission.  We are grateful for the opportunity to post blogs and pictures through this website.  Our goal is to post on a weekly basis to keep you updated with happenings at the Mission.  Today was the start of packing and one comes to realize what is truly important to take!  As Fr. David Morman who is currently serving at the Mission in Kenya reminded us:  everything weighs something!  How true that is.  In addition to clothes and personal items, we are taking approximately 130 water filters and other supplies for the Mission.  We have no doubt our bags will have been packed and repacked a few times before we leave!  The attached photo shows the content of one duffel bag which holds 60 water filter and supplies such as coloring books for training, stickers, and storage containers.
