My name is Joan Zander, my husband Adam and I have 5 amazing and energetic sons. I work 3 days a week as a Mental Health Therapist and spend the rest of my time managing our household of 7. Four of our boys have been fortunate enough to attend St. Joseph’s school and our youngest is eagerly awaiting to join his brothers at school. I am incredibly happy with the strong spiritual foundation our children have gained as a result of attending St. Joseph’s and have always felt it has provided them with the knowledge and guidance they need to take on the challenges they face in these early years of life.
If chosen to be a member of the school board I will work with the other members to achieve continued success for St. Joseph’s students by standing by the values, beliefs and principles of our school. My name is Kayla Johnson. I am originally from a small town on the SD/ND border. My husband and I moved to Williston 6 years ago and have made Williston our home. We have three daughters and our oldest is going into 4th grade. She has attended St Joseph’s School since Kindergarten. I am a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I work full time at First International Bank & Trust and enjoy being involved in the community. We are parishioners of St Joseph Church and are so thankful to have the opportunity to send our daughters to St Joseph’s school. I would be honored to serve on the St Joseph’s School Board and be part of preparing our children for the future. Hi! My name is Sara Loomer and I am a candidate for the school board at St. Joseph’s Catholic School. Being born and raised here in Williston, I have been a life long member of St. Joseph’s Parish. After graduating from North Dakota State University (Go Bison!), I lived and worked on cutting horse ranches in Texas and Oklahoma for a few years before returning home, getting married to the love of my life, Justin, and starting a family. Our two children, Lane and Madelyn, are students at St. Joseph’s school and will be in 3rd and 1st grades in the fall. Our family lives and ranches east of Williston along with my parents, Bruce and Kathy Brogger. During the week, I also work at TA Tong and Indicator, a local family-owned oil field supply and equipment repair company. In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends, baking cakes, and have recently started making quilts. Our family really loves the close knit, family-like atmosphere of St. Joseph’s School, and if elected, I hope to serve the school board well.
