We arrived back at the mission this week after an uneventful (thankfully) journey of 8,000 miles. It was hard to leave friends and family but it was time to get back to the mission. We are most grateful for the opportunity to be home and now we go to work. In addition to WWB, Mission Saturday, the new shamba is being built so exciting times here at the mission.
Our time home has come to an end. We are scheduled to return to Kenya on September 17. We leave with many emotions as it is hard to say good-bye again to family and friends but we look forward to serving the orphans at the Mission doing our best to be the hands, feet, and voice of Christ for others. The photo is one of the many beautiful sunsets seen from our yard during our time home.
